Welcome to Beehive Preschool, LLC!
Beehive Preschool is an in-home preschool offering an environment where curiosity is celebrated, friendships blossom, and little learners thrive.
The preschool is designed by Lisa Waddington who has combined her experience as an occupational therapist, as a parent, and as a life long learner to create a play-based learning program for 3-6 year olds. Lisa has always been interested in human/childhood development and the use of purposeful activity to promote developmental milestones. For occupational therapists, activities (occupations) are both a means and an end to adaptation and meaningful engagement in life. A child's "occupation" is to PLAY. This aligns with early education's view of learning through intentional, meaningful experiences, such as art, outdoor play, or other self-directed activities.
Lisa has a special interest in using art, science, and nature to promote curiosity and wonder. She is also a potter and will be using her potter's wheel with the children with parent's permission.

Little Explorers (Ages 3-6)
Our program is specifically designed to encourage the natural curiosity and wonder of preschool aged children. Through engaging activities and guided exploration, kids develop essential skills while having fun and building confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
